Kiri Industries Profit Soars 2,771% on Other Income
Kiri Industries posted a significant surge in its quarterly profit for Q1FY27, driven by robust revenue growth and substantial other income. The company reported a consolidated net profit of approximately ₹290 crore, up from ₹10.10 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
The improvement in top-line figures was led by better price realizations across Reactive Dyes, Vinyl Sulphone, and H-Acid, supported by tighter global supply and higher feedstock costs. However, operating expenses increased due to elevated crude oil prices and higher freight logistics costs amid geopolitical tensions.
The company's operational EBITDA turned positive at ₹15.90 crore, representing a 5.10% EBITDA margin, compared to an EBITDA loss of ₹16.20 crore in Q1FY26. The consolidated results include financial information from subsidiaries such as Chemhub Trading DMCC and Claronex Holdings Pte. Ltd.
Kiri Industries is progressing with its integrated copper-fertilizer complex project, targeting commissioning of the copper tube plant by June 2027. Management expects to achieve complete financial closure in the next few months, with total capital requirement estimated at close to ₹12,000 crore.
