KSE Mixed Performance Continues as Gold Prices Climb

The Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) saw a mixed performance on Wednesday, but gold prices continued their upward trend. The KSE-100 index increased by 0.53% to 7,630 points.

Several stocks showed significant gains, including MLCF which rose by 2.09%, NBP with a gain of 0.64%, and PIBTL, SSGC, TPL, TPLP, TREET, and TRG each increasing between 0.27% to 4.3%. In contrast, some stocks declined, including LOTCHEM, NCPL, NPL, OGDC, PAEL, PRL, PTC, and TELE.

The overall increase in the KSE-100 index was due to a higher opening on Wednesday morning, followed by some consolidation throughout the day. The index closed at 7,630 points, which is a slight increase from its previous closing price of 7,625 points.
