Ksi Lisims LNG Scores Long-Term Deal with Centrica Energy
Ksi Lisims LNG LP has signed a long-term supply deal with Centrica Energy for its proposed liquefied natural gas export facility on the northwest coast of British Columbia.
The agreement commits Centrica to buying one million tonnes of LNG per year for 20 years. This brings Ksi Lisims' total contracted capacity to nine million tonnes, out of a planned 12 million tonnes.
Western LNG, a Houston-based company, is the lead developer and future operator of the project, in partnership with Rockies LNG, a consortium of Canadian natural gas producers, and the Nisga'a Nation.
