Libya Condemns Attacks on Saudi Arabia, Vows Full Solidarity
Libyan Presidential Council Chairman Mohamed al-Menfi has expressed strong condemnation for recent attacks targeting Saudi Arabia, offering his country's full support to the kingdom. The remarks came after a strike originating from Iraq hit Saudi Arabia's East-West oil pipeline, according to Al Jazeera.
Al-Menfi stated that Libya rejects 'any targeting that threatens' Saudi Arabia or endangers Islamic holy sites. He emphasized that the security of the kingdom and the Gulf is not just a national matter but also crucial for regional stability.
In his statement, al-Menfi highlighted Libya's solidarity with Saudi Arabia amidst recent escalation and threats affecting the kingdom and the wider Gulf region. His remarks came after Saudi authorities accused Yemen's Houthis of carrying out an attack targeting Mecca.
