Lidl Cornflakes Top Kellogg's as Budget Breakfast Winner
Kellogg's Corn Flakes was pitted against five supermarket versions in a taste test conducted by Mia O'Hare. The comparison included Asda, Tesco, Lidl, Aldi, and Marks and Spencer.
The test revealed that the supermarket versions of cornflakes had varying degrees of sweetness and crunchiness compared to Kellogg's. Asda was ranked at the bottom with a rating of 5/10 due to its bland flavor and lack of sweetness.
Tesco, Marks and Spencer, and Aldi were tied for second place with ratings of 7/10 each. They were found to be crunchy but lacking in sweetness compared to Kellogg's.
Lidl emerged as the clear winner, matching Kellogg's in terms of look and taste at a significantly lower price point of 95p. It was awarded a rating of 10/10 by Mia O'Hare.
