LME Non-Ferrous Metal Inventories See Mixed Signals
The London Metal Exchange (LME) saw changes in non-ferrous metal inventories on September 22. According to SunSirs, copper inventory decreased by 1,625 tonnes from the previous day, while aluminum inventory fell by 75 tonnes.
Nickel inventory rose slightly by 102 tonnes compared to the previous trading day, exerting a slightly bearish influence on nickel prices. Zinc and lead inventories also declined, with zinc falling by 2,125 tonnes and lead decreasing by 3,025 tonnes.
Tin inventory decreased by 135 tonnes from the previous trading day, offering slight support for spot and futures prices. The changes in LME metal inventories provided mixed signals for prices, but overall had a moderately positive impact on markets.
