LNG Demand Set to Recover in China and India After Middle East Supply Crisis Ends
Liquefied natural gas (LNG) demand in China and India is expected to recover once the Middle East supply crisis ends, according to a recent report.
The Sinopec terminal in Qingdao, Shandong province, China was seen unloading an LNG tanker on September 3, 2026. The China-Global South Project notes that LNG imports in both countries are expected to rebound after the Middle East supply crisis subsides.
