LNG Prices Plummet by Up to $6.95 per MMBtu in August

Liquefied natural gas (LNG) prices have plummeted in August, according to a notification from the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA). The reductions range from $6.81 to $6.95 per million British thermal units (MMBtu), depending on the system.

For the Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) system, the new price has been fixed at $19.03 per MMBtu, a decrease of $6.81 from the previous price of $25.83 per MMBtu.

In contrast, the LNG price for the Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) system has been reduced by $6.95 per MMBtu, with the new price set at $18.13 per MMBtu, down from $25.08 per MMBtu previously.
