LNG Tanker Experiences Incident Exiting Strait of Hormuz
A liquefied natural gas (LNG) tanker controlled by Greek shipping company Gas Log has confirmed that it was involved in an incident while exiting the Strait of Hormuz, but thankfully, all crew members are safe.
The Gas Log Shanghai LNG vessel experienced the incident on July 31, but details about what happened have not been provided. The ship was carrying a cargo load from Qatar's Rash LAFSA export terminal when it encountered the issue.
Gas Log immediately activated its emergency plan and notified relevant authorities after discovering the incident. The company has stated that it is currently assessing the condition of the vessel to ensure everyone on board remains safe.
