Lundin Mining Sees Strong Growth in Copper Production
Lundin Mining, a diversified base-metals producer, has repositioned its portfolio around copper production in the Americas.
The company's second-quarter results recorded revenue of $1,212.7 million and net earnings attributable to shareholders of $278.4 million, or $0.33 per share.
Lundin's leverage to copper is direct, with the bulk of its revenue tied to the red metal, higher copper prices flow quickly through to earnings and cash flow, provided costs are contained.
