Tecnimont USA, a subsidiary of MAIRE, has secured a significant contract to develop a large-scale LNG export complex in Louisiana. The company will provide front-end engineering design (FEED) services for the project, which is expected to have a capacity of 25 million tons per annum (MTPA).

The FEED mandate includes key documentation required for regulatory approvals and technical support for the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) process. This marks an important step towards a potential engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) phase once the FEED is completed and FERC authorization is obtained.

By leveraging Tecnimont's expertise in complex industrial plants, MAIRE aims to solidify its position in the rapidly growing U.S. LNG infrastructure market. The project is also seen as a strategic initiative to boost U.S. energy exports to Europe and other regions by 2030.
