The Malaysian Palm Oil Council (MPOC) predicts that Malaysia's palm oil exports will remain stable at around 16 million tonnes in 2027, according to a recent statement.

This is despite Indonesia's forecasted decline in palm oil production by 1.9 million tonnes and export decline of almost three million tonnes in 2027, citing independent global market analyses and forecasts by Oil World.

Malaysia's current high stock level is expected to be temporary, with the country set to become an increasingly important source of palm oil for global consumers due to Indonesia's weaker production outlook.
