Market Check, a leading grain marketing advisory firm, has launched an online education platform called the Market Check Academy (MCA). The MCA is designed to teach growers and agribusiness professionals about the fundamentals of grain marketing, including how to hedge with futures and options.

The academy was created in response to growing demand for more comprehensive market knowledge among growers. In recent years, grain prices have been volatile due to weather events, freight and currency swings, and geopolitical changes.

Market Check CEO Nick Crundall said that the goal of the MCA is to give people the tools they need to succeed in grain marketing. 'We've been doing seminars for 30 years, but there's a limit to how many people we can reach,' he explained. 'The Academy means that anyone can get the same grounding at their own pace.'

The seven modules of the MCA cover topics such as market fundamentals, risk management, and hedging strategies. Each module includes short videos and quizzes to ensure participants understand the material.
