Maruti Suzuki has introduced the Victoris Aurum Edition in India, marking the first anniversary of its Victoris SUV. The special edition features copper-coloured exterior accents, chrome detailing, and additional cabin accessories, all aimed at enhancing the vehicle's premium appearance. Priced at ₹22,990, the Aurum Edition is an optional accessory package available exclusively with the Victoris Strong Hybrid variants, which range from ₹16.43 lakh to ₹19.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Aurum Edition includes copper inserts on the skid plates and wheel arches, along with chrome elements on the front grille, fenders, bumpers, body-side mouldings, and door visors. Inside, the package adds all-weather 3D cabin mats, a 3D boot mat, and a rear trunk sill guard. The mechanical specifications remain unchanged, retaining the 1.5-litre petrol engine paired with an electric motor and battery pack, delivering a combined output of 116hp and an ARAI-certified fuel efficiency of 28.65 kmpl.
Maruti Suzuki launched the Aurum Edition on October 24, coinciding with the Victoris completing one year in the Indian market. The company has also partnered with Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor to promote the special edition. The Victoris has recorded the highest first-year sales for a newly launched model in India's passenger vehicle segment, crossing the 1.5 lakh cumulative sales milestone.
The Aurum Edition is designed for buyers looking to give their Victoris a more distinctive appearance without opting for mechanical upgrades. It does not change the SUV's existing variant lineup or core technology features, focusing solely on styling enhancements.
