McDermott Qingwu Lands Third LNG Module Contract with Technip Energies

McDermott Qingwu has signed its third LNG module construction contract with Technip Energies. The contract, signed on September 28, is for the construction of 50,000 tonnes of liquefied natural gas (LNG) liquefaction modules for a large-scale project. This project will be executed from the second half of 2026 to 2029.

McDermott Qingwu has a proven track record in LNG module construction, with over 135,000 tons delivered cumulatively to date. The company's experience includes projects such as Yamal LNG and Near-Coastal Arctic II LNG, where it constructed large-scale liquefaction modules.

The company operates world-class facilities and possesses the capability to construct all types of modules, including core liquefaction modules, pretreatment modules, distillation modules, and electrical modules. Its construction capabilities cover a wide range of temperatures, from -40°C to ambient conditions, and both onshore and offshore applications.
