MCX Gold Prices Jump 0.52% Amid Global Upward Trend

Gold prices on MCX rose by 0.52% to Rs. 1,54,568 on August 12, buoyed by a positive global trend and strong spot demand.

The increase in gold futures was accompanied by gains in Brent crude futures, which rose 0.85% to $89.67 per barrel, and US West Texas Intermediate (WTI), which edged higher by 0.90% to $83.95 per barrel.

US gold prices also climbed, with spot gold gaining 0.46% to $4,387.03 an ounce, while regional shares rose as geopolitical tensions increased ahead of key US inflation data.
