MCX Gold Prices Plummet by ₹171 Amid Weaker Spot Demand
Gold prices on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) dropped by ₹171 to ₹1,51,128 per 10 grams in futures trade amid a fall in spot demand. The decline was attributed to weaker spot demand. Globally, gold futures also declined by 0.25% to $4,277 per ounce in New York. On the MCX, yellow metal contracts for October delivery traded lower by ₹171, or 0.11%, at ₹1,51,128 per 10 grams in a business turnover of 867 lots.
