MCX Silver Prices Plummet 0.81% on Participant Sell-Off

Silver prices on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) dropped by Rs 1,955 to Rs 2,40,489 per kilogram in futures trade on Monday. The decline was observed in December delivery contracts.

The fall in silver prices is attributed to a sell-off by market participants, according to analysts. Globally, the white metal also saw a decline of 1.04% in New York, trading at USD 68.22 per ounce.
