Industrial users in Mexico's northern border states of Tamaulipas and Nuevo León are driving natural gas demand, according to a recent public consultation by national pipeline operator Cenagas.

The consultation reveals that industrial users in these regions are seeking more natural gas than any other part of the country. Specifically, Tamaulipas demand is projected at 470 million cubic feet per day (MMcf/d), while Nuevo León follows closely with an estimated 351 MMcf/d.

Cenagas has identified 357 potential delivery points for companies looking to tap into this growing demand.
