Middle East Conflict Concerns Boost Oil Prices
Oil prices have risen in response to growing concerns about the prolonged conflict in the Middle East. The Brent crude oil futures for November delivery were up $0.91 (0.94%) from their previous day's close, reaching $97.91 a barrel on the ICE Futures stock exchange in London.
This increase follows Monday's rise of $0.72 (0.75%) to $97 a barrel. The WTI crude oil futures for October delivery went up $1.83 (2%) to $93.31 a barrel in online trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX).
