Middle East Crude Oil Flows Near Pre-War Levels Despite Ongoing War
Crude oil exports from the Middle East have largely recovered to pre-war levels, according to JPMorgan Chase & Co. The region's 'oil export arteries' are flowing again, analysts said in a recent note.
The recovery is 'remarkable' given that the region is still at war, although it has been uneven, Natasha Kaneva and other analysts noted.
As of September 29, crude oil flows from the Middle East have reached 98% of their pre-war levels. This is a significant milestone for an industry that was severely impacted by ongoing conflicts in the region.
