Middle East Oil Exports Rebound to Pre-War Levels
Crude oil exports from key Middle Eastern producers rebounded in September to 12.8 million barrels per day, the highest level since the start of the US-Israeli war with Iran in February.
This recovery came after Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates increased their exports, with shipments from the port of Ras Tanura in the Persian Gulf rising to about 3.6 million barrels per day in September, up from 929,000 barrels per day in August.
Although exports from the region have recovered, they are still down by about six million barrels per day compared to February's level of 18.8 million barrels per day.
