Middle East Oil Exports Surge to Pre-War Levels Amid Regional Tensions

Oil exports from key Middle East producers rebounded in September to 12.8 million barrels per day, their highest level since the US-Israeli war with Iran began on February 28.

The recovery was largely driven by Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, which boosted exports following a rise in shipments via the Strait of Hormuz.

Exports through the strait are set to reach around 7.4 million bpd this month, up from previous levels after Saudi Arabia diverted oil exports from the Red Sea port of Yanbu due to attacks on its East-West pipeline.

The region's top exporter, Saudi Arabia, is expected to ship about 5.4 million bpd this month, a significant increase from August's 2.446 million bpd.
