Middle East Oil Floods US Shores with 9M Barrels
A large shipment of Middle Eastern crude oil is arriving at US ports in August, providing some relief to a market strained by wartime demand for American exports.
According to data from maritime intelligence firm Kpler, at least 9 million barrels of oil from the region are expected to arrive at US shores throughout August.
This influx represents a significant increase, but still only about half of the average level seen before the conflict began.
