Middle East Tensions Keep Oil Prices Above $100
Oil prices remain above $100 per barrel amid growing concerns over global supply disruptions in the Middle East. Brent crude futures rose by 81 cents, or 0.78%, to $104.68 per barrel by 22:02 GMT on Monday.
The increase comes as recent events have affected key energy infrastructure and shipping routes in the region, adding to uncertainty in international oil markets.
US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures also gained, increasing by 76 cents, or 0.76%, to $101.06 per barrel.
