Saudi Arabia reported that one person was injured from shrapnel after intercepting a ballistic missile in Asir. The Saudi civil defense stated this occurred on October 3, 2026.

The Houthis claimed over 90 attacks by Saudi Arabia were carried out in Yemen within a 24-hour period, with Reuters reporting the kingdom is preparing an offensive to break the chokehold and secure shipping routes in the Red Sea. The US has also deployed its third aircraft carrier to the Middle East.
