Middle East Tensions Send Oil Prices Soaring

The assault, which was successfully intercepted by U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM), ended hopes of a diplomatic breakthrough between the two nations.
Brent crude climbed to $87.95 per barrel, up 4.59%, while West Texas Intermediate was trading at $82.89, up 4.58%.
