Middle East Tensions Send Oil Prices Soaring Again
Oil prices are rising again due to renewed hostilities in the Middle East.
Brent crude oil futures for November delivery on the ICE Futures stock exchange in London have reached $90.46 per barrel, a $2.36 (2.68%) increase from the previous trading day's close.
This marks a turnaround from Friday's decline of $0.42 (0.47%) to $87.1 per barrel.
Meanwhile, WTI crude oil futures for October delivery on the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) have risen by $2.21 (2.65%) to $85.61 per barrel.
