Motherson Sumi Wiring India Ltd., a leading manufacturer of wiring harnesses for passenger and commercial vehicles, is currently trading near its 52-week low. The company's share price has dropped to Rs 36.69 on the NSE, significantly lower than its 52-week high of Rs 53.59.

The Q1 FY27 results showed a revenue growth of 37% year-on-year to Rs 3,407 crore, but net profit grew only by 1% to Rs 145 crore due to elevated copper prices and a significant minimum wage hike in the NCR region that weighed on margins.

The company is now engaged in discussions with customers for cost recovery. The management attributed the flat profit growth to these external factors, which they expect to be resolved soon.
