Naftogaz Secures ORLEN Deal for $500M Fuel Supplies
Naftogaz has secured an agreement with Polish energy company ORLEN for additional supplies of petrol and diesel to Ukraine, worth up to $500 million. This deal aims to bolster the stability of the fuel market and meet peak seasonal demand in the first quarter of 2027.
The agreement also includes three shipments of liquefied natural gas (LNG) during this period, as part of ORLEN's existing collaboration with Naftogaz on US LNG supplies. In this arrangement, Polish company receives the gas at the terminal, regasifies it and transports it via pipelines to Ukraine.
The agreement was signed by Ukrnafta on behalf of the Naftogaz Group during the Carpathian Eight Summit, amidst global tensions in the petroleum products market.
