Naidu Directs Officials to End Andhra Fuel Shortage
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has directed his officials and oil marketing companies to restore normalcy in the state by ensuring a sufficient supply of petrol and diesel.
The fuel shortage was triggered by a sudden surge in demand due to large-scale purchases by commercial consumers at retail outlets, according to officials.
Naidu questioned representatives of HPCL, IOCL, and BPCL about why they had withdrawn credit facilities earlier extended to retail outlets, directing them to ensure an uninterrupted fuel supply without gaps.
