Nakilat Takes Delivery of First LPG/Ammonia Carrier
Nakilat has taken delivery of Energy North, its first liquefied petroleum gas/ammonia carrier built by HD Hyundai Samho in Yeongam, South Korea.
The vessel is part of Nakilat's six-ship programme at the yard, which includes four LPG/ammonia carriers and two LNG carriers.
Nakilat said deliveries were scheduled between 2026 and 2027. Energy North was named at a ceremony on September 30 and is set to enter service on October 2.
