NASCAR's E15 Victory at Iowa Corn 350 Promotes Ethanol
The Iowa Corn 350, Powered by Ethanol NASCAR Cup Series race took place over the weekend at Iowa Speedway. Over 1,800 members of the Iowa Corn Grower Association and their families watched Ty Gibbs take the victory with a 15% ethanol fuel blend, Unleaded 88 or E15.
Iowa Corn Promotion Board President Joe Roberts praised the event, stating 'The energy that overtakes Iowa Speedway during the Iowa Corn 350, Powered by Ethanol NASCAR race is undeniable.' He highlighted the significance of partnering with NASCAR to promote the connection between corn fields surrounding the track and the fuel used by drivers.
The Iowa Corn 350 was the first NASCAR Cup Series race at Iowa Speedway and in the state of Iowa. Roberts emphasized that the event not only promoted ethanol but also the over 4,000 products made from corn and the Iowa corn farmers who grow it.
