NATGAS Rises 2.02% as Institutions Bet on Winter Demand
Natural Gas (NATGAS) prices rose by 2.02% on September 30, driven by institutional market participants repositioning ahead of the winter heating season.
The upward movement was largely due to short-covering activity and renewed long accumulation as traders took advantage of lower price levels to establish positions before the seasonal transition into October.
Underlying support for domestic contracts came from strong demand for U.S. liquefied natural gas exports, driven by elevated overseas pricing and ongoing European storage replenishment efforts.
