National Gas Prices Hit All-Time High Amid Crude Oil Instability
The national average price for a gallon of regular gasoline has reached an all-time high of $4.10, according to data from AAA.
This marks the highest price on record for this date in August, with the monthly average currently at $4.06, surpassing last year's average of $3.97.
Despite a decline in gasoline demand, which is typical for this time of year, crude oil prices remain high, pushing up the national average.
