Natural Gas Dives on Sharp Selloff from Resistance
Natural Gas has been under pressure in recent sessions after a sharp selloff pushed price back down from resistance near $2.814.
The commodity had made gains through the first half of August, but the rally stalled just below this ceiling and gave way to a steep decline that erased more than a week's worth of increases in a short period.
Price is now hovering around $2.660, close to the range floor at $2.622, which aligns with the swing low set in early August.
A test of this support could still trigger a rebound, especially if buyers step in to defend the same level that held previously.
However, a clean break below $2.622 could confirm a range breakdown and set up a measured move selloff, with the range height of roughly $0.19 projected lower suggesting a potential slide toward the $2.430 area.
