Natural Gas Futures Prices Stagnant Ahead of Storage Report

Natural gas futures prices remained steady at around $3.00 as traders awaited the latest federal inventory print, which could provide a fresh catalyst for the market.

The market's lack of direction is evident in its trading range, where prices have been hovering since September. However, according to NGI's poll, this morning's storage report may spark some movement, with predictions pointing towards a 60s Bcf injection.

Meanwhile, NGI itself forecasts a slightly larger build of 63 Bcf in natural gas storage levels. Additionally, total Lower 48 demand has eased, which could impact the market's overall dynamics.
