Natural Gas Futures Stuck in Neutral Amid Lower Supply and Demand
Natural gas futures prices are stuck in neutral as supply and demand trends lower.
The November New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) contract traded sideways on Wednesday, despite subdued production that typically lends bullish support to natural gas futures. However, a largely unsupportive two-week weather outlook offset this bullishness.
As of 11:54 a.m. ET, the November NYMEX futures were trading at $3.021/MMBtu, up 1.0 cent from previous levels.
