Natural Gas Prices Slip to $2.631, Support Zone in Focus
Natural gas prices have been steadily declining for months, reaching a low of $2.631 as it approaches a key support zone between $2.400 and $3.000.
This area has previously served as a launchpad for the commodity's sharp rallies, including the one in late 2025. Buyers may be waiting to defend this zone once more if the floor holds.
If the price stabilizes at current levels, natural gas could bounce back up to test resistance near $2.900 from its 100-day simple moving average (SMA), followed by a potential revisit of swing highs from earlier this year.
The path of least resistance remains to the downside for now, as the 100 SMA has crossed below the 200 SMA, and price is trading below both indicators.
