Natural Gas Prices Stabilize Near $3.12 After Pipeline Restart
US natural gas prices have stabilized near $3.12 per million British thermal units (MMBtu) after two consecutive sessions of declines, according to Trading Economics.
The stabilization comes as a key pipeline in West Virginia has been restarted following repair work, which is expected to increase gas flows from the Marcellus and Utica region over the coming days.
Meanwhile, liquefied natural gas (LNG) export demand has strengthened, with feedgas volumes to nine major facilities averaging 18 billion cubic feet per day in September, up from 17.3 bcfd in August.
