Natural gas futures were trading sideways on Wednesday due to mixed signals from supply and demand trends.

A subdued production level lent bullish support to the market, but this was offset by a largely unsupportive two-week weather outlook.

The November New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) contract traded at $3.021/MMBtu as of 11:54 a.m. ET, up 1.0 cent.
