Natural Gas Storage Surpasses Forecasts, Suggesting Weaker Demand
The latest report from the Energy Information Administration (EIA) has revealed a significant increase in natural gas storage levels.
According to the data, natural gas inventories rose by 53 billion cubic feet over the past week, surpassing the forecasted increase of 50 billion cubic feet.
This uptick suggests that current demand for natural gas may not be as robust as some market participants had expected, which could exert downward pressure on natural gas prices.
