Natural gas traders are scrambling to cover their short positions as bullish weather trends have sent prices soaring.

The shift in market sentiment was driven by a change in weather patterns, which is expected to lead to increased demand for natural gas during the upcoming heating season. Analysts at Entropic Analytics noted that pipeline flow data and bidweek pricing have been closely watching these changes.

According to NGI's analytics platform, the forward curve prices of natural gas in North America are also showing signs of a bullish trend. The prices for October delivery have increased by 5% over the past week, while November prices have risen by 4%.
