Nebraska Ethanol Board Welcomes Industry Experts as New Voting Members

The Nebraska Ethanol Board (NEB) has welcomed three new voting members from the state's ethanol industry. Effective immediately, Todd Good from Archer Daniels Midland (ADM), Joe Shanle from Trenton Agri Products (TAP), and Brent Hoops from Chief Ethanol were appointed by Governor Jim Pillen to fill newly-created seats on the board.

The appointments come after the passage of Legislative Bill 815, which added three ethanol producer seats to the NEB. The new members will join existing board members representing wheat, general farming, petroleum marketers, labor, corn, and sorghum sectors.

Good, a plant manager at ADM's Columbus facility with 24 years of industry experience, expressed excitement about joining the board as a voting member. 'I'm excited to join the NEB as a voting member at such a critical time in the industry,' he said. 'Having served as an advisor for the past few years, I know firsthand that the NEB is heading in the right direction.'

Shanle, vice president of operations at TAP, also highlighted his enthusiasm for joining the board. 'I'm thrilled to be joining the NEB in a voting seat,' he said. 'This industry provides many benefits to our state, and the NEB has been involved in much of its development.'

The new appointments bring the total number of voting members on the NEB to nine.
