Nepal Oil Corporation Introduces New Cooking Gas Cylinder Sales System

The Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has implemented a new system to sell cooking gas cylinders from five different companies at its Teku office in Kathmandu. Starting August 1, customers can purchase 14.2 kg LPG cylinders from Nepal Gas, HP, Everest, Sugam, and Shriram gas industries between 11:00 am and 5:00 pm.

NOC spokesperson Manoj Thakur stated that there is no shortage of cooking gas, and the corporation is supplying as needed. However, consumers have expressed concerns about difficulties in obtaining cooking gas, with reports emerging from various locations across the country, including the Kathmandu Valley.
