Nepal's Gold Price Drops Amid Steady Global Markets
Gold prices in Nepal's domestic market fell by Rs 1,000 per tola on Wednesday, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA). The price dropped from Rs 284,200 per tola on Tuesday to Rs 283,200 per tola. In contrast, silver prices rose by Rs 10 per tola to Rs 4,320 per tola.
The international market also saw gold trading at US$4,029 per ounce and silver at US$57 per ounce on Wednesday, according to reports. The price movements in the domestic market are not directly correlated with global prices, as they are influenced by local demand and supply factors.
