New England Natural Gas Curves Ease as Winter Premium Drops

New England natural gas curves are showing significant relief in subsequent years following an exceptional winter premium in the coming heating season. The forward curves at key New England hubs are pricing substantial drops after 2027.

The Appalachian basis, however, sees little improvement, while the regional January gap remains wide. This is a stark contrast to the relief seen in New England, where the premium drops after 2027.
