Oil prices are on track for their biggest weekly gain since mid-July due to intensifying US-Iran hostilities.

The war between the two countries has entered its seventh month, with Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz warning that Israel would 'cripple' Iran's military and civilian infrastructure, including energy facilities.

Brent crude futures rose 7.6% to $95.52 a barrel on Friday, while U.S. West Texas Intermediate crude futures climbed 10.4% to $91.36, putting the benchmarks on track for their highest gains since July 20.
