Newamstar Brings Smart Manufacturing to Tajikistan's Edible Oil Industry
A state-of-the-art edible oil plant in Tajikistan's Sughd region has been inaugurated, thanks to Chinese equipment maker Newamstar. The facility is equipped with three fully automated production lines that can produce up to 200 tons of sunflower oil, cottonseed oil, and blended edible oil daily.
The intelligent lines were designed to support large-scale, standardized grain and oil processing, and are tailored to local climatic conditions, regional processing characteristics, local packaging specifications, and national safety standards. The facility's automation levels and operational performance have been praised for their stability and efficiency.
Newamstar has delivered one-stop overseas services for the project, covering customized solution design, equipment manufacturing, on-site installation and commissioning, operational personnel training, and long-term system optimization and upgrading. This marks a significant milestone in industrial cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative, showcasing Chinese smart manufacturing equipment's global competitiveness.
Newamstar has been deployed in more than 80 countries and regions worldwide, with its products and services addressing common operational pain points and maintenance bottlenecks faced by overseas manufacturing facilities. Industry observers believe that the launch of intelligent production lines will significantly elevate the automation and modernization level of Tajikistan's grain and oil processing sector.
The project is expected to improve localization capacity in the country's food processing industry, consolidate the domestic industrial supply chain, and enhance self-sufficiency in daily essential consumer goods for local residents. Newamstar plans to expand its global industrial layout, iterate high-quality customized turnkey solutions, and optimize localized full-lifecycle service systems.
