Newmont Stock Surges on Record Free Cash Flow and Analyst Upgrades

Newmont Corporation's stock price surged after the company reported a record-breaking second quarter of 2026, with free cash flow reaching $2.2 billion.

According to Scanx Trade figures cited by Ad hoc news, Newmont produced 1.3 million ounces of gold in Q2 2026 and realized an average gold price of $4,414 per ounce.

This led to a boost in adjusted EBITDA to $3.8 billion and adjusted net income to $2.10 per share.

The company's all-in sustaining costs came in at $1,621 per ounce, below its full-year guidance of $1,680 per ounce.

UBS analysts have been bullish on the stock, lifting their price target to $155.00 per share from $120.00 and maintaining a Buy rating.
